Verre & Protections chooses CoMETA

The famous French "security" magazine chooses the lock Co404ICE

Verre & Protections, one of the most influential magazines in the security sector in France, selected the CoMETA lock inserting it among the best on the market. It has been 20 years that the magazine publishes news and in-depth analysis on products, systems and solutions regarding the protection of goods and people, and over the last years it increased its public thanks to its new website verreetprotections.com. The magazine is divided into three different areas: glasses, doors and windows, protections, so as to cover all the news of the security area.

In the number 107 of November 2018 the editorial staff published an article of in-depth analysis where the best locks currently present on the French market are presented. These are locks which obviously have specific features, that can be summarized in:

  • High burglar-proof degree
  • Shatterproof protections
  • Security automatisms

The selection has been carried out from the editorial staff of Verre & Protections, that at a later time contacted the different companies producing the chosen locks, including CoMETA France for the lock Co404ICE. “We are proud of having been chosen” maintains Marie Baglieri, Business Manager of CoMETA France “Our lock Co404ICE is a product specifically born to offer the highest burglar-proof degree” explains Simona Anselmi, Deputy Sales Director of CoMETA S.p.A. Moreover, how explains Marie Baglieri, “the CO404ICE is equipped with a mechanism for the automatic re-closure. When the door aligns, the piston automatically comes out with no electrical pulse. The lock is mechanical, not electrical; a specific feature expressly conceived so as to prevent thieves and criminals from opening the lock with the simple cut of electrical cables”.

In France the CoMETA group is present with the company CoMETA France, which is based in Paris and which offers business support and technical assistance for the francophone market: North and Central Africa, Europe, Canada.
